Lower Abdominal/Back Pain

I am 17 weeks and this afternoon/evening have started to get sharp stabbing pains in my lower back/hip (right hand side). Pain is much much worse when I walk around and is almost taking my breath away...

Could this be round ligament pain? Should I ring the hospital? This is my second and I can't ever remember having this before!
Thanks

I dont know to be honest but i would deffo air on the side of caution and contact hospital and or midwife. I have had stabbin pains but ur's sound so much worse. I would deffo get checked out. Also ur appendix is on that side. Better safe than sorry 😘

It could be round ligament pain or it could be pressure on your sciatic nerve especially as pain is one sided, increases when you’re walking and into your hip. Worth speaking to GP or midwife for suggestions or, if it gets worse, a physio referral.

Likely round ligament pain or pelvic girdle pain
