Hi, I’m 28 weeks and I haven’t felt baby move for a couple of hours. Although, I can now feel what I can only describe as a pulse at the bottom of my stomach but it isn’t as fast as like a heartbeat, more like every second or two. This isn’t when I touch my tummy, I can just feel it. Is this normal? I’m just such a worrier and need a bit of reassurance everything is ok 🙁 I had my glucose test this morning and he’s been pretty quiet since then x

I would call your midwife or maternity unit op. Any change in movement should be checked out. It's probably nothing, but better safe than sorry xx

Have you tried the cold sugary drink/lying on your side to see if the movement picks up?

WhiteLightTrainWreck · 10/06/2019 19:16

If you're worried please call the mat unit, it's what they are there for and they would rather you went in and were shown everything was OK than you sit at home worrying.

In the meantime have you tried a cold drink and laying on your left? It's advise I've seen a couple of times.

Hugs all same x

This happened to me a lot when I was pregnant with my first they told me to get a cold can of drink and a hot bath get in the hot bath then drink the cold can of coke to make the baby jump to see if movements happen

Before I get told this is a horrible thing to do this was advised to me by a mw and oversly not todo it every day and that just when the baby hasn't been moving for a while just to make sure

Call the maternity unit and they will invite you in for monitoring.
