My baby's growth has "slowed" he has gone from just under the 20th centile to just under the 5th in 4 weeks
My last baby was premature and small born at 35 weeks
I'm 36 weeks now
I've been given steroids today and have the second dose tomorrow but I want to know what it means in terms of delivery?
The consultant has asked for a Doppler scan on Monday next week and then another scan to check growth the week after
If I continue having tightenings and they hurt I'm to go in but I've been having regular and intense but mostly not sore tightenings for weeks now
Any experiences of this ? Thank you
Oh and I'm having a c section thank you

After your doppler scan I think they'll discuss maybe delivering early if growth hasn't improved any.

The Doppler was over the middle 50th line so I don't understand

My 1st babies growth started to slow at 34 weeks I was sent for weekly Dopplers and by 37 weeks they decided he would be better off on the outside were he could be monitored better. They pushed me on just until 37 o'clock eels after having various issues and on the day of my induction I went in after having twinges all morning and was already 3cm! Baby was born at 5lb 6 however was very healthy x
