Pregnancy weight gain

Evening all.

I am 26 weeks pregnant and I have now gained 23lbs. I was 9 stone to begin with. Just wondering if this sounds 'normal'? I feel it sounds like a lot seeing as I have 3 months to go and the normal gain is 25-35lbs and the most growing is done from now on!

I feel most of the weight gain is on my legs too so I can't even blame the baby bump haha.

I was at a wedding yesterday and chatting to a midwife who I'd never met before and she said to me "gosh you're looking big for 26 weeks" it's made me feel ginormous lol.

This is good guide - www.calculator.net/pregnancy-weight-gain-calculator.html

Not sure what height you are, it seems to be over the recommended range, BUT, it may even out over the 40 weeks.
