I know animals are meant to be able to sense things like pregnancy but what about children?

My DP's daughter, aged 5, just ran into the room, crouched down and kissed my tummy and ran back out. There's no way on earth she would know and I'm only 5+3 today! It totally weirded me out, she's never done that before!

Anyone else had any experiences like this - with animals or children!

I believe I've posted this before so a bit outing but I work in a nursery and before I even knew I was pregnant a child told me I was having a baby, told me a very similar name to what I would have called a girl at the time, and then said baby was poorly. I lost the baby at 14 weeks pregnant, and had only actually done a test at 9 weeks. I definitely believe children know these things, maybe some are more in tune than others but I think they all kind of get a feeling maybe to be careful of someone's tummy or something similar.
I also know someone who owns a staffy and used to jump all over me, we'd lie on the floor with him basically on top of me etc but as soon as I got pregnant he won't jump up at all - he sometimes goes to but then changes his mind. He'll also stand guard of me and if there's lots of people in the room he won't leave my side.
And just the other day on the bus there was quite a few drunk people, as well as obnoxious twats making out they're something special, and one lady who made me want to stab her was sing shouting nursery rhymes at a child the other side of the bus. The dog in the row next to me picked up on my stress levels and moved over to me and refused to leave my side - a woman tried to get off the bus and the dog had to be dragged away (I would have picked it up if I'd known the owner was going to drag him)
