Currently 12 weeks pregnant with DC2. I remember going for my 12 week scan with my first and saying how much my sickness had improved by then. With DC2 it's still going strong. Just wondered how long others lasted? Was it different with each pregnancy?

DC1 I had HG so that was a different kettle of fish although vomiting did ease at 20w.
This pregnancy vomiting and nausea both eased at 16w - I'm 21w now.

I’ve been much worse with DC2, it didn’t kick in until 6 weeks (whereas DD started from before positive pregnancy test), buts is been worse and still going at 10 weeks

Mine was awful (doctor diagnosed HG but thankfully I wasn't sick that much, just constant awful nausea), I think by about 17 weeks it was a lot better.

Mine started at 5weeks.. sickness stopped at 10weeks.. im now 12 weeks and still feel nausea when hungry but thats all.

Thanks everyone just hoping it eases soon. I was signed off work but going back this week. It's abit harder when you have a DC to look after aswell.

Are you vomiting? I'm going back to Dr as I still keep vomiting daily despite taking antisickness tablets. My 1st pregnancy 9 weeks x

Promethazine is what I've been prescribed

@lynwen84 yes I am I'm on cyclizine which I also took with my first pregnancy. It makes me very tired but does work. I've been trying to not take it anymore as I would prefer not to but still so sick I had to take one today.
Definitely return to your GP. 9 weeks is often when your sickness reaches its peak. It was with my first DC, however, tbh this time I still feel just as sick at 12 weeks.
