Contractions??

With my first child I had the plug, waters and then contractions and he was on time.

This pregnancy I'm overdue and had the sweep yesterday at 12pm.

Had cramping from it but now I'm sure it's early contractions. Started yesterday evening but extremely irregular. Sometimes every 50 minutes but with small ones in-between and then maybe one every 20 minutes.

Where my waters haven't gone and I haven't lost my plug it's all new to me! When should I ring the hospital??

Standard advice is wait until you are in an established pattern (so for at least an hour) of 3 contractions in 10 mins lasting between 45 to seconds. Obviously if you have any concerns or have been told different then ring.
