Hi All, I had scan at 12 weeks and my baby wouldn’t move so I had an additional scan at 15 (+5) weeks. Baby measurements are fine other than head. BPD = 29.6mm HC = 107.3mm circumference below 5th centile, what should be the average result? Are my results really bad? Had scan yesterday, got another scan next Friday with FMU consultant, they did have appointment for Monday but I have work. As they wanted to make a appointment the next working day is that another sign I need to worry? Should I get the Monday appointment? Need advice

I think if you are worried then you should take the earlier appointment. The reason they offer so quickly is in case there is something wrong and you might choose to end the pregnancy, so it's nothing to worry about specifically, more that they are planning for the worst case.

In my experience Fetal measurements are pretty subjective. It depends on the sonographer and the skill they have as well as babies position. I was induced at 30 weeks as they felt baby had stopped growing and ended up having a 4lb baby at 30 weeks!! I had a tiny bump and they'd got it wrong.

Also some babies have to be in the lower percentile. That's how they work. It's an average. In every 100 babies 5 will be in that category.
