When did the constant feeling of sickness and feeling completely I'll go away for you? I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and since Monday I've been floored. Just wondering when it got better/eased up.

I'll let you know. 21 weeks and counting 🤢

mrshadders · 08/06/2019 10:13

Sorry to say it was around 18 weeks for me Sad I ended up on tablets from the doctor as I got married and went on honeymoon at 9 weeks and couldn't function! Hang in there, sure it'll pass!

captaincorellisvaseline · 08/06/2019 10:14

Though in first pregnancy it was around 13 weeks iirc.

Marshmallow1992 · 08/06/2019 10:17

It's constant all day everyday! Sometimes it lets up for an hour or two then hits me with a bang. It's absolutely horrendous isn't it? I feel so sorry for all of us!

1st pregnancy severe nausea and sickness from 6 to 10 weeks then i was just randomly sick sometimes.

Currently 7+2 with 2nd and sickness is a lot milder and comes and goes I find if I dont eat it gets worse.

I was sick from six weeks on - now week 14 and it is easing. I've been on meds for it and initially took 3 a day but down to one, occasionally two now. I still feel a little queasy at times and mornings are the best - it goes downhill after lunch - but it is improving. I thought I'd wake up one day and bounce out of bed feeling fantastic but sadly that doesn't seem to be how it works. It's just gradual.

I'm sorry you feel this way - it's hell. I'm so jealous of all the women loving pregnancy and not either vomiting all the time or thinking about it. Rumour has it the second trimester is the best and I hope you find that too. Good luck OP and do go to the doctor - and don't be scared to go back! I had to try three different pills before they made a difference.

Also 21 weeks and will let you know, except its worse now with the lovely added heart burn 👶🏻💙

I've had diarrhoea and tummy cramps from about week 5 - week 6, horrible but manageable with a hot water bottle! Now I've had nausea since week 6 and I'm on week 7 as of tomorrow!!! I've found eating all the time helps! If I get hungry I feel worse and then struggle to eat at all! I'm just eating what I feel like without guilt!! Something is better than nothing!!!
Also I can really recommend sickness bands that you wear on your wrists! They are sold for travel/morning/chemo sickness, I've been wearing solidly for two days, just taken off for a shower but they seem to be helping!!

I had HG in my first pregnancy and vomiting last until the 3rd trimester.
This time it wasn't so bad- nausea hit at 6w and I vomited about 3-4 times a day until 16w when it then eased - 21w now and feel a lot less like I've been hit by a bus! Hang in there!

Marshmallow1992 · 08/06/2019 22:03

Thanks for the replies. It's such a horrible feeling. I just feel sick constantly 😭.

It’s so awful :( I’m sorry to say but in my first pregnancy, the sickness lasted until 10 minutes after he was born! That was extreme HG. With my subsequent pregnancy I was feeing much better by 20 weeks and only sick in the morning and evening by 6 months ... hope it gets

Gustavo1 · 09/06/2019 17:06

Sorry ...
hope it gets better for you soon. I think the usual is 12-14 weeks. The placenta normally takes its job up at about 11 weeks. You should get some relief then 🤞🏻

MerryDeath · 09/06/2019 20:54

I'm 9 weeks and still feel disgusting throughout the day Sad

originalusernamefail · 09/06/2019 21:02

DS 1 - til birth at 40+6
DS 2 - til birth at 40+3 Sad.
So sorry Op go to the docs, take whatever you can get and go easy on yourself. If it's any consolation the memory of it fades somewhat (that's the only way we got DS2 Grin).
