Private gender scan

I hadn’t a private gender scan at 16 weeks and 5 days pregnant and was told girl! She hovered over for a long time and was so certain and double checked and even took pictures of the potty shot I even asked her if it could be wrong and she said no.
However I still have my doubts because I’m silly! Is there a chance she could have been wrong? I know I’m annoying asking but my family already are buying pink!

I had private gender scan at 16 weeks, and saw the 3 lines so girl.
I have to admit we did tell everyone at the wedding, but back of my head kept thinking maybe wrong. Had our 20 scan on Thursday and they confirmed definitely a girl.
I think we all have a few doubts

Hi, I had a private gender scan at 16w and was told boy but at my 20w scan last week I was told girl! I honestly don't know what to believe now. I did get a potty shot at the private scan but it's a bit blurred plus I know at that gestation they can look very similar. I think don't believe anything 100% until the birth really. That said, I was told boy at my 20w scan in my first pregnancy and it was completely accurate.

This was my gender scan at 15 weeks defo a boy at 20 week scan! My niece went for a scan and they got it WRONG but she had a reveal party so was never actually shown the bits and the lady didn't look for very long as they didn't want to see!!

These are the potty shots would you say girl?!

Does look girly OP so hopefully it's correct. Definitely get them to check at the 20w scan though just in case.

Thank you I will!! The sonography looked for ages and was pretty certain I even said ooo you won’t get it wrong will you and she said nope!!! So

@Beth2016xxx yes looks like a burger which is girl, my DD looked like that at 16 weeks shes almost 3 and still a girl 😁😂

@Beth2016xxx my niece was told boy and it was a girl! Honestly don't know how you can misjudge that when you compare my pic to yours 😂 x

I think the same! The sonographer did say sometimes on girls their “nub” looks swollen and can be confused for a willy!

@Beth2016xxx I think if I didn't see a definite penis I would wait till 20 weeks to buy stuff 😂 x

At our NHS 20 week scan, we weren't filled with confidence (forgot to tell us so when she did the scan was over and we couldn't see). I then had a private one at 30 weeks and she showed us on the screen and a lot of development had happened in 10 weeks, it was a lot lot clearer. I would recommend the private ones but if you leave a bit later, will be even clearer.
