Baby camera/sound monitor with sender and receiver units and an app (with VOX)

Hello everyone,

In my lots of spare time I have been reading :-)

But I cannot find a monitor that has the normal two units but with an app too (plenty with just the app though)

• A Receiver sound/vision (next to my bed)
• A Monitor sound/vision (next to baby)
• And an app that I can use in addition to the Receiver and Monitor.
• The VOX detection sounds much better than the crackly/hissy monitors with VOX.

I have found plenty that have just the app, but I don't want to have to rely on solely this.

It's so hard to manually search for something with these features.

I didn’t find one but have downloaded an app called Baby monitor (costs around a fiver) on to ankle iPhone on my iPad and it’s brill. I can even log on when out of house using my mobile phone if I just want to see baby (even though I trust my babysitter - I’m not a nutter, honestly)!

Haha @greenflamingo I just wish a good normal VOX baby monitor had exactly that as an additional feature ... for us nutters :-D

I don't want to have to use my phone all through the night kinda thing.

My rationale was that all the BT monitors have the base and monitor. I'll do more searching on other brands.

Sorry for my “ankle” typo - it should have said “old”. I just kept my old phone so I didn’t have to use my current phone all the time. Works well. But the bt one sounds good.

And this app is compatible with all Motorola video baby monitors...
