Too much amniotic fluid

I had a growth scan after measuring 'too small' and they found that I have too much amniotic fluid (polyhydramnios).
They are going to monitor this. But I am a bit worried as I was told this can result in baby coming early.
Has anyone experienced this? If so did your baby arrive early?

I was told I had it at 32 weeks. They scanned agin the following week and it was normal and remained that way. Baby arrived at 39+4

Thank you. Iv got another scan in a couple of weeks so hopefully it will have sorted itself out.
