Cramps at 4 weeks

Evening all,

I am 4w 3d pregnant and I am experiencing slight cramps every now again. Have been happening for past 2 days now (my period would've been due on Tuesday just gone). Cramps comparable to pre-period cramping, nothing overly painful and not accompanied by any bleeding or spotting.

I have read this is quite normal in earlier stages, but my question is....

What can I do or take to take the edge off? I've have a warm (not hot) bath but doesn't seem to have helped much.

Thanks in advance x

I’ve had a cramps for the first few weeks, sometimes quite painful, I would lay down and try to sleep that was helping me. I was also heavily spotting with blood from week 4 to 9. I am now 17 weeks all good.
