23 weeks pregnant and nosebleeds

Hi,

I'm 23 weeks pregnant and having little nosebleeds, nothing major and very manageable just random!

I've just been sat at my desk and thought my nose was running and wiped blood all up face

This is my first pregnancy, just wondering if it's a common thing as I've had quite a few the past two weeks. They aren't a big issue just wondered if it's that or a touch of hay fever or something, I've never had nosebleeds before

I am currently sat here at 37weeks with a nosebleed, had them throughout the pregnancy at least once a day, also had them when pregnant with Ds, lucky i seem to avoid all the sickness, back ache etc...but i deal with nose bleeds. I also had bleeding gums now and again but that stopped at 30weeks. I was told its fine it just due to rhe extra blood and maybe having a weakness in the blood vessle x

I had nosebleeds throughout my pregnancy; I did get them before I was pregnant but they got a lot worse when I was pregnant. I ended up in A&E at about 25 weeks pregnant after having had a pouring nosebleed for over half an hour - felt ridiculous walking into hospital with blood all over my face and neck like a Halloween costume! Obviously this is not the norm 😂 but I was told normal (small!) nosebleeds are common during pregnancy.

Yup, I've already started having them at 8 weeks. To do with changes in blood vessels and extra blood. Worth getting your BP checked if you haven't recently as high BP can cause them too

I had awful congestion and couldn't blow or touch my nose without seeing blood. Now 3 weeks post partum and it's still the same! Cant wait for it to clear! X

I was the same. Nose bleeds everytime I rubbed or blew my nose. Blood pressure fine and didn't get them before or after.

Yep. I remember going to the loo and thibkong I had a runny nose. As I got in the bathroom i sneezed. Blood everywhere. Never in my life had I had a nosebleed before. I'm trying to wee an not nosebleed everywhere.. Unsuccessfully.. I called dp and he panicked as the blood was on the floor by the loo and everywhere..cue me mopping floor at 3am when I finally got it to stop bleeding lol
