Suffering with morning sickness vomiting and wanted to know is it normal to have stabbing pain when vomiting in left hand abdominal pain?

I have been prescribed anti sickness so I'm confused as to how I vomited this evening

Sometimes those pills don’t work. Hope you feel better ASAP and someone comes along who can help.

If it's very painful I think it's worth getting checked out - do you have the number of a midwife yet?
The pills made it better for me but didn't stop me vomiting sadly.

Worth asking a midwife about the pain. I get some pain when vomiting from the straining. I'm 38 weeks and on my fourth kind of anti-sickness tablets, none have helped, don't be afraid to ask for something else if the ones you're on aren't working, there's plenty they can try. Hopefully you'll find something that works for you.

Thank you for your replies, I'll see the Dr tomorrow and discuss

Anyone know when vomiting stops? Is it at 12 weeks and does it just suddenly stop?

Mine tapered off at 13 weeks, for some it continues whole way through

My sickness only lasted a week and a half, during this time I couldn't stand the smell of anything. it does clear up quick for some women so I hope it does for you too, it isn't pleasant.

Mine went from vomiting 3+ times a day for 6 weeks then one day i just felt sooo much better still nausea on and off but sickness just stopped and that was at 10+5
