I haven’t been to the loo since Sunday morning. If I didn’t look pregnant/have a bump before then I certainly do now. I got told I looked “massive” today Sad

I’ve been taking Fybogel for the last two days and no joy. Have tried prunes. Drink plenty of water. I feel so sluggish and gained half a stone!! Any advice?

Hey have you tried pure orange juice? I was like this for 5 days last week it hurt so bad but I drank a lot of pure OJ, and then had a milky coffee and it sorted it out thank god. Was painful though being so bloated x

I’ve not had orange juice as oranges have made me sick recently! Might have to give it a try though as I can’t go much longer like this. I have had milky coffee today x

@bobble53 ah I feel your pain there is a thing called Movical I think that is really good but I don't actually know if you can take it in pregnancy google it because if you can try that?x

Hot water in the morning helps. Try lactose with the fybogel - they have different effects but taking both is safe

Prune juice sorted me out then I stocked up on lactulose due to planned csection and that was great too.

SnowyAlpsandPeaks · 05/06/2019 22:12

Friend drinking prune juice not just eating them? 1-2 pints you should go.!

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 06/06/2019 00:44

Prune juice is your new friend 👍

bobble53 · 06/06/2019 18:54

@bobble53 Congratulations Grin

To stop it happening again, check you’re vitamins don’t have added iron.

They bung you right up!

OMG it's definitely the Pregnacare. I've had to stop taking it for the same reasons. I just take a vitamin D now & i'm trying to make sure I eat a varied diet for everything else.

I also find upping exercise really helps too. I walk my dog every morning anyway but i try and go for a second time in the evening when I can x

anitagreen · 07/06/2019 14:25

I'm also taking pregnacare and sorry to be rude but I thought I was going to explode this morning until I finally went! Do we not need all this extra vitamins then?x
