Fully engaged

Have found out I'm fully engaged 36 weeks but midwife couldn't give me any predictions as to how long things would take. Any stories from anyone as to how long it normally lasts from getting fully engaged to labour starting?

Sorry but I was fully engaged at 36 weeks. I gave birth at 41 weeks......

Whereas at the other end of the scale, I was told I wasn't engaged at all at 36+5 (and had a scan) ... Baby was here 36 hours later, completely spontaneously.

You'll hate me I was full engaged 36 weeks delivered 42+6 Grin

It doesn't mean anything. With DS1 I wasn't engaged at 37+6 - he was born the next day! With DS2, he was engaged from 35 weeks but not born until 39. Sorry!

That's so interesting, it looks like absolutely no correlation at all! I really thought that might have been a sign of things to go. Ah well, back to second guessing every other symptoms! Waiting game is the worst!! Grin
