Bump measurements

1st time mummy! I had my 25 week check up with m/w today. She has told me not to worry but my bump is measuring 2cm bigger than what it should. I may need to go for another scan but will be informed! I find it all so confusing 🤭I had a scan at 22 and half weeks and he was measuring normal (apart from legs just below average). Any simile experiences? Interested more than worried xx

My bump is measuring bigger but growth scan came back as normal. Both are notorious for being inaccurate though so I wouldn't worry too much at this point :)

I'm also in my first pregnancy and I wondered how they will measure my bump because I am overweight and had a "bump" before being pregnant!

I was measuring large with both my babies, 3-4cm ahead I think and one was 8lb and the other 10lb5 Shock. Bump measurements are definitely not always accurate so don’t fret (not that you sound like you are).

Mine was the opposite with dd.
Kept measuring small. Every apt.. Meaning growth scan.. Which was always OK. Healthy 7lb baby

Bump measurements are very inaccurate. If your measurements are outside of the lines at 36 weeks (in my trust) your sent for a scan.
If you jump up or down and don't stay on the same curve, you get a scan. I had a scan last week because bump is big. Baby is measuring 50th centile.

Also curious with this. I'm measuring 4cm ahead already. I'm guessing it's different protocols for each trust as to how they progress?
