Hi everyone, this is my first pregnancy and I’m 6+4. For the past three days since waking up in the morning I’ve felt so ill; like having a massive hangover. I’m sick, no appetite and just feeling like I need to lie in bed. Going to work is a massive struggle. Is it normal to feel this bad? I keep worrying something is wrong.

Yep sounds fairly standard for first trimester.

Some people have a really tough pregnancy and others not. And every pregnancy you have is different. My first I felt absolutely fine and great. Only sign was a missed period. Second one I felt a little tired and tiny bit sick in evening. This one I feel tired all day and sick from later afternoon.

Yep, I'm 6+1 and feel the same. Work is extremely difficult and I have already had to tell my boss so I can excuse my flakiness (luckily he is very understanding). It's miserable, isn't it?

It is normal and horrendous. Get signed off by the GP and some anti sickness tablets if you need to.

Hey OP I know exactly how you feel! I'm 6+3 today and I feel like death. I've had non stop nausea since last Thursday which manifested into vomiting last night and this morning, I've managed to make it to work but it's been a tough morning!

I just text my DH saying that I don't know how I'm going to get through the next 5 or 6 weeks like this! I've got my booking appointment with the midwife on Saturday so if she gives any good tips on coping with it then I'll definitely share!

It's reassuring that I'm not the only one but I genuinely just feel ill 24/7 and can't stop being sick 😭 really hope it passes soon

Completely normal, still feel like this and I'm 18 weeks x

@Marshmellow1992 I've found that mine is worse in the morning so I eat a cracker before I get out of bed which seems to help. All I've managed so far today is crackers and a nectarine but managed to keep it down so that's a start!

Also keep sipping water, I find it helps me a feel a little more settled x

Definitely normal!
