Pregnant after MC - no symptoms

I found out at the weekend I am pregnant again after having a miscarriage at the beginning of April.

Although i’m excited to be pregnant again, I have no symptoms and I’m about 5 weeks along.

The only thing I noticed yesterday was that I felt like AF was about to start. I had a heavy feeling in my lower abdomen like I normally get just beforehand a period. It lasted for about 30 mins and stopped.

Has anyone else ever been the same?

Yep I've had period like cramps on and off for the last 2 weeks (6+6 now). I think its normally when I'm constipated as well as it goes pretty quickly! I get stretching feeling around my hips as well, lots of odd things going on! Hoping it's all normal :)

I’ve read that it’s down to the uterus stretching, but when it feels like AF symptoms, it is a bit worrying.

Have you had any other symptoms @Beck2277? Or just the stretching?

That's the main thing, period like cramps, hotter than normal, back ache, very occasional nausea but normally if im tired and peeing more than normal as well as constipated haha the joys! Nothing too awful and if I hadn't of been late for af and actively trying I don't think I'd have questioned it! Hopefully all is fine but trying to think that what will be will be :)

I’m 9 weeks today and I’m still experiencing period like pains. It’s driving me insane. I’m hoping it all passes. I’ll feel much happier when I’ve had a scan xx

That’s normal. I tend to find it gets worse around the time you would have normally started your period - so 4/5 weeks 7/8 weeks and around 11/12 weeks.
