Regretting not finding out...

The sex of my baby and now 33 weeks pregnant. Just for fun, any guesses as to what I'm having?

You could pay for a private scan and find out if you really wanted! :) hard to tell from that pic cant see nub x

I know I could get one privately...we made a pact we wouldn't though and it seems silly with only 7 weeks to go. I'm just dying to know tonight and thought I'd give ask for opinions. None of our scan pics were very good tbh!!!

Looks like a boy if what I see is the nub. The thing pointing up at the end.

When you get that surprise at the birth it will all be worth it.
I found out with my 1st but didn’t with 2nd and i much preferred not finding out, it was amazing feeling.
I havnt found out with this pregnancy either although my other half knows!
For me as much as I can’t wait to know, I think I would feel a bit deflated if I found out and instantly think “ oh why didn’t I just wait”

I don't think you can get a private sex scan this late anyway. They normally stop at 32 weeks max as baby is too crowded for them to tell properly after this.

(I know you don't want one but just so you know)

If you get offered a growth scan u can't ask them to check

I didn’t find out and I was convinced I was having a boy (don’t know why!) so was very shocked when a little girl popped out. Best surprise ever!

Yes I know, it is a fab surprise. I didn't find out with my first and it was an amazing moment. Not one id want to ruin...hence me posting scan pics on MN and asking for nub theory opinions rather than paying for another growth scan

Basically the long story is that when I got pregnant, we knew there was a chance my military husband might not be able to attend the birth. I was told I would be having extra growth scans later in pregnancy (as I had to with first who was very small). We decided that if DH couldn't be at birth, we would find out the sex during a later scan, so he wouldn't be so out of the loop.

What then happened was that after our 20 week scan, the consultant decided we no longer needed any extra scans as baby seemed to be growing fine. (Hooray!!)

However, we then found out husband definitely CANNOT be present at the birth. So now no more scheduled scans and husband won't be there the moment we find out the sex.

And that's the long and short of it.

This is the only other 12 week scan pic I have...the 20 week scan pic completely cuts off entire lower half so even more useless. Come on ladies, make a pregnant lady happy with your predictions

From the second pic you posted I’d guess boy :)

Think boy too because of the size of the swelling.

HOWEVER

12 weeks is very early to tell.
