is anyone else due on xmas day?

hi, my name is leanne,im 20 years old,i lost my parter in an accident 10 weeks ago..feeling my baby move is the only thing keeping me going
i would love to speak to anyone else who is due on xmas day-knowing my luck the baby will come just as im tucking into my brussel sprouts!! ..hope everyone is ok...thanx for listening xx

Hi Leanne, so sorry to hear about your partner. Just wanted to send my sympathies. I am not expecting a baby on xmas day or expecting a baby at all actually, but I was born on Xmas day so I may share your little ones birthday. I was born at 2.45 in the afternoon so I really messed up my mums dinner! Good luck with your baby Leanne and lots of hugs xxxxxx

I'm due in February, on my daughters Birthday so you'll miss your sprouts and i'll miss the cake

You never know when they're ready to come out though!

Very sorry to hear about your loss... Have you thought of joining the "Due in December" talk ? That would introduce you to several women expecting in December... great to compare notes and reassure/support each other.

I'm a due in December person. I'm due on New Years Eve, but my mum was due with me on New Years day and I came on xmas day.

So sorry to hear about your partner. I hope you're getting lots of support.

I'm sorry about your partner, what an awful time you must have had/having. Hope you've got lots of support around you - and I'm sure you'll get lots here too.

I am also due on Christmas Day - it will be my second. I have a daaughter who just turned 3.

Hi Leanne and welcome to mumsnet, you will get lots of support here. So sorry about your partner how horrendous for you

My dad was born on xmas day (he is called Noel of course!!) He loves it as always has his bday off and everyone always remembers it!
