Anterior placenta & no movement 21 weeks

Does anyone have any experience of having an anterior placenta? I’m 21+3 and getting really concerned that I haven’t felt any movement yet. I know because my placenta is anterior that it could take longer to feel movement but I thought by now I would be feeling little flutters or something. It’s making me really anxious, my midwife told me it can take up to 24 weeks so maybe I’m just too impatient. Thanks

I'm 16+6 and have an anterior placenta. I found out at a private scan at 15+4. The sonographer said it would be another 6+ weeks at least until I felt any movement - so getting on for 22 weeks, at least.
Sorry I can't be of much help - hopefully someone else will be able to tell you when they first felt movement. Smile

I didn't feel a thing till about 24 weeks, and even then it wasn't strong or regular till about 28 weeks. It's nothing to worry about but of course it's such a worry! Speak to your midwife at your next appointment or if you can't wait consider getting a private scan. I found the fact I could see her moving like crazy on screen but not feel it really reassuring
