Hi

I have 2 children, one being just turned 1. I am still breastfeeding him so I have not had a period since before being pregnant with him.
Me and partner DTD (doing the deed) bank holiday weekend and used a condom but it annoyingly split (never happened to me before), so we went the next day to get the Morning After Pill to be safe even though I’m probably not ovulating anyway what with breastfeeding/novperiods etc.
Anyway today I’ve got very light pink bleeding when I wiped....
surely this isn’t implantation bleeding?! There’s 3 things against pregnancy listed above, how could that even happen?!
Has anyone else experienced bleeding after the morning after pill? Anyone else got pregnant breastfeeding with no periods?
Maybe I’m panicking over nothing. Thanks if you got this far 😬😬

If you took the morning after pill its unlikely, my friend was breast feeding and didnt have a period and still got pregnant so not impossible.

I'm 11 weeks postpartum. I'm breastfeeding exclusively and I've had an episode of spotting for a few days. It happens! Might be your cycles returning or just a breakthrough bleed. But test in a week to rule out pregnancy.

I’m still breastfeeding my 1 year old and didn’t have a period until she was 19 months. When she was 18 months I had something that looked crazily like implantation bleeding and a bit of spotting and though i might be pregnant (without a period). Turns out it was my cycle kicking in again and had a proper period the next month. (Did get pregnant that month though and am currently 7 weeks!) x

One type of MAP (sorry can't remember which) works by delaying ovulation. So in theory if your cycle was returning and you had already ovulated, but not had a period yet, then it wouldn't work and you could have conceived. That's a lot of what ifs, though. It's more likely because your hormones have been disturbed slightly by the MAP. But probably worth waiting a couple of weeks and doing a pregnancy test to make sure.
