5 and 7 weeks pink spotting

I am due middle of jan 2020, I’ve previously had a miscarriage around 18 years ago, I’ve gone on to have 3 healthy babies which the youngest is now 11.

I’m pregnant with my 4th, estimates 7 weeks today. I had 3 days of pink spotting and dull aches in week 5 and today I’m week 7 and I’ve had a bit more and tummy ache too. It’s still light pink but I’m worried 😟

I have a private scan booked for next Sunday but I have my booking appointment with the midwife on Wednesday. I guess it’s worth me mentioning these spottings to her?

I would call the midwife or your gp today and let them know specially if your getting pains with it and they can advise you what to do.

Tell your mw but they will probably say it can be normal. Some may take a look to see if your cervix is open or not but as you’ve got a scan soon anyway they may want you to wait for that.
