9 weeks and just look fat - what to wear?!

Too early for maternity but none of my summer clothes are particularly flattering around the waist now (I don’t know if it’s bloat or just the fact that it’s my third time being pregnant that’s making it show earlier) but I’ve definitely got a little wobbly pot belly at the moment.
I’m really struggling with what to wear - I don’t feel comfortable in anything and although I look fine from the front, from the side it’s a different story.
My jeans and shorts still do up but just don’t look great.
Was thinking maybe some floaty maxi dresses?!
Anyone else in the same boat and got any tips/ suggestions?
I’m only 5 foot 1 as well so any extra weight is always really noticeable on me. Trying to eat healthily but the nausea has meant I’ve stopped running (used to run 4 days a week) and am eating more carbs than I was before.

Not sure a maxi dress would work with your height. Try wide black culottes that end about mid-calf and a lighter coloured t-shirt / blouse. A knee length (or at most upper-calf) empire line summer dress would look good too.

I'm there with you and have switched to leggings and tunics with ballet flats. High waisted maternity pants keep the wobble to a minimum.

@teddybear45 I do wear maxi dresses anyway but petite length ones and normally not so flowy if that makes sense, more fitted on waist and hips otherwise I tend to look like I’m the size of a tent so I know what you mean. Thanks for the suggestions.

@gwenneh leggings sound comfy but it’s so hot at the moment I think I’d be too warm - they were my go to last time but I was pregnant initially over winter.

What about 3/4 length or capri leggings (which is what I'm wearing now as it is ridiculously hot.)
