thats it im trying desperatly for other solutions. if i got rfused for csection which i probably will i would like to think id try it as my last birth i was induced and traumatised me. so scared to go through it ll again. but to be honest the whole castor oil thing is starting to sound harsh too. think this seriously will be last baby

Pregnancy brain has a lot to answer for...

I'd probably steer clear of castor oil, it's just vile.

To be honest, reading this thread I think you need to try and relax a little (not easy after a traumatic birth I know!)- I am not sure whether you are in contact with your midwife or not but it might be an idea to sit and chat about your birth options before even thinking about this kind of thing if you are only 33 weeks. It sounds like you are quite anxious about it, so much so that you thought you were past term when you still have seven weeks to go so i would defo try and chat with someone esp if DP is away. Its quite an odd mistake to make when pregnant (despite the depleting brain cells we suffer from!!) so it might be worth giving your MW a call.

I can understand the panic. I wasn't quite induced with my daughter, but the only think I was missing from the equation was the pessaries/gel. Just try to relax and go buy a trampoline

hayley- i posted on your other thread about organisations who can help with birth trauma and also advice re getting an elective c s

you need to try to stop panicking and see your consultant, and head of midwifery and sort out your options and take it from there
