Can someone please give me any advice. I started bleeding Thursday light spots of blood very watery pink. Then on Friday I woke up and it was more brown still not had any cramps. Then as the day got on the blood got brighter and I had my midwife appointment. She told me to go to A and E to see if I can get an emergency scan as she couldn’t get hold of them. I went over and they examined me and told me it all looks ok as my cervix was closed and booked me for a scan the Saturday morning. I went over and had an internal and all they could see was the sac as I am so early on. She told me my cervix was still closed and try not to worry. Through our the day yesterday I started getting period like cramps and they got slightly worse but I wasn’t in severe pain. I’m still bleeding and when I go for a wee there is small clots of blood down the toilet. I think I am only 4/5 weeks pregnant. Is this a sign of threatened miscarriage??

@Hxaxr sorry you are going through his stress. It could be a threatened MC but then it could be nothing. Phone up your EPU or GP and ask them for HCG blood tests - you will need to have 2 - 48 hours apart to show HCG is doubling as it should be xx

Since it is too early for a scan, the blood tests are the best way to check.

It is such a worry but try to stay positive x. I've been in a similar position but it was an MC in my case but I'm pregnant again v early days and had the tiniest of spotting and it is such a stress but all bodies and eggs are different. Wishing you lots of luck and strength x
