Movements - when do regular patterns happen?

Hello, I’m 24 weeks with my first. I had my first flutter after my 20 week scan. I am getting movements every day but they do vary and some days are more frequent than others. Some mornings I wake up with flutters and some I don’t. And if I eat and have something to drink he moves about a bit more. When should the patterns become more regular? Also they aren’t exactly strong kicks I would say they are flutters but certainly noticeable. I know everyone is completely different I would just be nice to hear from other expectant mums 😊 x

Hi @Babycakes1989 there's some useful and reliable information available here: www.kickscount.org.uk/your-babys-movements

Congratulations!

25+3 here and not much regularity yet. Definitely getting stronger but no pattern as such. Some days much more than others.
MW said she wouldn’t expect me to be able to identify much of a routine until 28 weeks.

24 weeks too! I’m getting stronger flutters now but it is still irregular - some days I’ll feel barely anything whereas other days, I seem to feel her moving almost constantly. They’re still more flutters and gurgles though rather then strong kicks - I do have an anterior placenta as well so where your placenta is might affect it.
