Just a bit of a moan really, sorry!
32 weeks pregnant and absolutely knackered and HUGE. I have a toddler and on my own apart from 2 weekends a month when husband is home.

I have terrible SPD and just finding lifting things so painful, my son, shopping, washing etc. Its all very well the NHS advising not to do any of these things but honestly, if I'm on my own we can't just starve / wear dirty clothes for months.

Just really feel like crying and giving up im so tired. Any words of wisdom or empathy from anyone in a similar situation?

Hi
I am preg with a toddler too. How old is yours? I have discovered mine can do more than I expected to save me lifting etc. Over the last couple of weeks with support & using an Ikea stepstool, he can now climb into & out of bath by himself etc, he is in a bed with no side and we've bought steps (Ikea again) so he can climb in without help. He can climb down from car seat and is working on climbing in - a friend suggested getting him to climb over seats from the far side which actually works. It really has helped me SO much. If you order your shopping online, the drivers will basically always bring the bags through to your kitchen for you too.

Also... focus on positives, you are in the home straight now with a growing baby.... nearly there, it will be worth it. Im sorry if this is a bitchy thing to say but my pregnancy has a ton of problems and my baby is not so likely to make it, I'd take all the pain in the world if it would make a difference

I think exploring childminding / nursery options for your son might be a good thing. As for the other stuff - Most laundaries will collect, deliver and iron clothes now. It won’t hurt to have a few takeaways / ready meals each week.

Thank you loveisland for your advice. You are right I probably could be encouraging him to be more independent, I hadn't even thought about putting him on the opposite car seat so he can climb over. Will definitely drag his little stool upstairs to the bathroom as well.
Also thank you for putting things in perspective, I know I'm on the home straight and I absolutely know how lucky I am to (hopefully) be having a healthy baby in a few weeks. I'm so sorry for your loss and you don't sound bitchy at all, I know babies are worth the pain. Just having a weak moment!
