Bleeding at 8 weeks

I had bright red bleeding when I wiped earlier after the loo, called the EPU & waiting on them calling me back, but now it is a brown colour when I wipe. Is this normal? This is my 1st pregnancy so this is all new to me.

No bleeding in pregnancy is 'normal' so it's a good thing you contacted your unit! As reassurance, I bled at 7 weeks, and again 15-17 weeks. I'm not 27 weeks with very wriggly twins.

Calling epu and getting checked out is the best thing

Thanks everyone, I have had a call back & have just to monitor over weekend as currently not having any pains and bleeding is only on wiping. Fingers crossed 🤞
