Lower back is getting progressively achey, more so when i'm taking care of DS on my own. My mother suggested one- are they any use? If they are, what one to get?

I got one from blooming marvellous I think. To be honest I found it really uncomfortable and hardly used it. Getting achey now like you say esp when looking after ds (due oct) so might dig it out and try again....

I used to use one when I had SPD with my youngest and it was a god send. If your suffering then it really doesn't hurt to have a go. If you can wait try speaking to hv and see if you can get one on NHS this is what I did as I knew what it was early.
