Just wanted a chat with expecting mamas to be. I’m currently feeling a bit meh - had anxiety on and off for a few days, I’ve just started maternity leave and I feared this would happen as I have to keep my mind busy. I’ve booked in a few treats next week - hair appointment and back massage hoping that will help me feel better. With everyone else busy at work sometimes you just need people to talk to.

I'm 35+1 so very similar to you. Have had a super easy pregnancy but then in last week have developed excruciating back pain and carpal tunnel syndrome and now I feel very ready to get this baby out! Hoping she'll be closer to 37 weeks than 42 but life rarely works like that.

I think it's normal to feel a bit lost when you finish working. I'm working till 38 weeks but from home as I don't want a long commute when I'm technically at term. Try to do somethings you won't be able to do for a while once baby is here - long baths, read a book, go to the cinema.

We're almost there!

My pregnancy has been okay but like you I’ve recently started with back pain, I think it’s sciatica and carpal tunnel. So some days I struggle to walk but then really uncomfortable to sit for too long as well!

I went at 35 weeks as I’m on my feet most of the day and I couldn’t wait to go but now I feel a bit lost. I think also think it’s due to the fact I can’t do everything I want to as it’s a struggle now.

I’ve been crafting today to keep myself busy and it’s something I enjoy so maybe I need to do this more, I’ll end up with a house full of DIYs 😂
