He ladies ,

I'm currently pregnant with my second child, I'm going to be 18 weeks on Monday.

I felt flutters really early on 15/16 weeks and now I feel nothing and have not for over a week now maybe more, should I be worried as I know the baby is still very small.

Thank you in advance

It's still very early for regular movements. Baby is still very small and can easily move into a position you can't feel.

They expect a pattern to have formed by 24 weeks and you to be feeling them "regularly" for your baby's pattern by then.

If you're really concerned give your midwife a call they might have you in for a Doppler listen.

I'm 18+2 also with my second and like you have been feeling fluttered since about 16 weeks. I haven't gone as long as a week but some days I feel nothing and others it feels like its rumbling quite frequently in there. I guess because of the size it has to be quite close to the surface for me to feel it? I wouldn't be worried until after 24 weeks as PP says, you will also have your scan soon which will help :)

Thank you I had a slight complication which led to a bleed but all is well and normal again I had my scan and the baby is a little girl all healthy and well
