I have just found out (at two days past expected AF) that I'm pregnant - had a BFP on a First Response test. This is my third pregnancy since October last year. Works out that I'm due around the 3rd Feb 2020.

I've had two miscarriages - one in October 2018 at 12 weeks which resulted in surgery and another in February 2019, which ended at 6 weeks. I'm really quite nervous, but hopeful that this time is third time lucky. 🤞🏻🌈

Is anyone else due in Feb 2020? Are you having any symptoms?

That sounds tough, panda Flowers Fingers crossed for you

I have just found out I’m pregnant, due in Feb.

Bit of a surprise - we’d not been trying as such, just going with the flow. I am a bit blindsided by the whole thing happening!

According to apps I am 4+5. No symptoms other than sore boobs & no period.

RuthWilder · 30/05/2019 20:14

Oh, and a sore hip, which I thought was from spin class until I was googling symptoms. Never heard of that one!

pandaobsessed · 31/05/2019 09:54

@RuthWilder thank you 💕 I think that's when things happen to be honest - the more you try and want something, the harder it is to get it. Ooo a sore hip, I haven't heard that one either, but it makes sense. I've had sore boobs, extreme tiredness and I'm overall quite hormonal and moody (🤦🏻‍♀️). I'm roughly 4 weeks and 4 days today.

Hi ladies, I'm currently 4+2 so very early days. I have a DS who will be 3 in July. I had 2 MMCs last year (April and Nov) and one Early MC in Aug. I had just been referred to recurrent miscarriage and was about to start Clomid on next cycle when I got my BFP! I tested slightly early as I had a work event the other night so didn't want to drink if pregnant. However, I then started spotting that day in the same was I do every month pre-cycle so I thought it was a CP but then spotting stopped and line got darker.

In the symptoms front - I'm knackered but struggling to sleep, feel nauseous but have also started getting a cold and heavy chest which is annoying! Boobs aren't sore but I never get sore boobs when pregnant. I'm very emotional. Lots more symptoms than I've had before even on such early days which is a bit weird. I'm terrified that it will be another MC given my history and how early I have tested ( my rule was to wait til week overdue).

Due to spotting I have HCG blood tests on 8th and 10th and scan on 10th.

Fingers crossed these little ones hang on in there and are healthy. 🤞

Hi @Newbie21 congratulations to you on your BFP. I know exactly how you're feeling, being nervous with previous history. Just relax and although very hard, stay positive. I was actually due to see a specialist about my miscarriages on the 20th June, but now have my BFP. So see how it goes. I am seeing the midwife on Tuesday, so going to see if I can get an early scan to put my mind at rest a little. I'm now 4+6. Funnily enough I have a heavy chest/cold at the moment too! Hope you feel better soon. And like you said, fingers crossed these little ones stay where they are xxx

Please can I join? I’m due 5th feb. I had 2 mc last year in May and December so feeling nervous, but hopeful this time will be fine. Not really any symptoms yet apart from aversion to anything except sausage sandwiches and crisps, and an unexpected hatred of basil 😂 and sensitive rather than sore boobs.

ronniemipperton · 02/06/2019 17:25

Another one in the two miscarriages camp here (July and Jan for me). Only 4 weeks today but I’m already fretting a bit because my boobs feel less sore than they did yesterday. Doing my best to stay positive though!

becdenkings · 02/06/2019 17:49

Hello! I’m 4+3 with my first pregnancy and a due date of 6/2/2020. Had positive tests Thursday, Friday and Saturday (haha!). Feeling very anxious about risk of MC although I think that’s because I know a lot of ladies who have lost babies recently. My husband and I are cautiously excited, we’ve been trying for 9 months. He actually deployed today with the military for six months so I’ll (hopefully!) look a bit different when he comes back. Feel a bit alone with it all and don’t know how to stop wanting to take a test each day just to reassure myself. Any tips from those who have been there before? Wondering if I should get a private scan at 7 or 8 weeks for comfort? Hope everyone stays healthy!

Chocol4te · 02/06/2019 18:00

Hi all, I'll join this as well, found out that I'm pregnant on 30.05 which was my birthday, I didn't expect a positive test as I had only sore boobs so I thought it's just PMS, I was very surprised and happy with BFP, took 3 on Thursday, one yesterday and one day, I need to stop haha! The app is showing 5w3days , I will gotl for a private scan on 16th of June and midwife appointment is on 23rd of June, this is my first pregnancy and spent last days reading everything about NHS screenings, blood tests, food that is allowed and so on, I will try to chill next weeks so I don't drive myself crazy! But I am really scared of a miscarriage, never had one but they seem common nowadays ...

pandaobsessed · 02/06/2019 18:24

@Littlegoth @ronniemipperton congrats ladies on your BFPs. I'm sorry to hear you've also suffered miscarriages. Hopefully it's third time lucky for us. I have my fingers crossed that it all goes well for you. All I can say is try not to stress too much - although I keep telling myself that too! 💕

@becdenkings a big congrats on your BFP. Try not to be too anxious. From my experiences, the thing to remember is that as long as you're doing everything right and keeping healthy, then that's all that matters. Whatever might happen is completely out of our hands. It's such an exciting time though, so try to enjoy it 😊 When will you tell your husband? Whilst he's away? x

pandaobsessed · 02/06/2019 18:32

@Chocol4te congratulations to you too on your BFPs!! Oh wow, that's a definite positive then haha. I'm debating whether to get a private scan just to reassure myself with my previous history. Not sure whether the midwife will give me one or not - I just don't want to have to worry for the next 8+ weeks before the first scan. Like I said to another lady, all we can do is do everything right and keep healthy 😊 try to enjoy it Hun, although the sickness can be horrible x

Lets hear only good news 🥰
Quick questions, I made the appointment with the midwife but nothing was mentioned about the 12weeks scan, will it be booked by the midwife when we have the appointment? Do I need to call them and book it separately? Or will be booked automatically?

becdenkings · 02/06/2019 19:01

@pandaobssesed thanks lovely! I’ll try to keep calm as you say. So we had the BFP on Thursday and my husband deployed today so he knows already. So sorry to hear about your miscarriages but hopefully this little bean is feeling sticky! My symptoms are feeling crappy, gassy and bloated. Plus a bit of nausea. How are you feeling? Just noticed the thread topic name is Feb 2019...oops, presumably we all are 2020! 😊

Newbie21 · 02/06/2019 19:51

Congratulations to all joining the Feb crew! Let's hope for a happy and healthy 8 months ahead!!!

@Chocol4te it can depend on your area but generally (and as was the case in North London ad now Mid Essex), the 12 week scan is booked following the 8 week appointment (or once you are in the system and you will just receive a letter from your hospital). Speak to your midwife about it at the 8 week appointment and she should talk you through all the scans and appointments especially if it is your first. If you have any questions just ask them.

pandaobsessed · 02/06/2019 22:32

@Chocol4te you will have had an initial appointment with your midwife, which is just to get you logged on the system. You'll have another appointment around 7 or 8 weeks which will be more detailed about your health etc. Your midwife will then book the scan following this appointment and you'll get a letter in the post or phone call as to when this is 😊

@becdenkings aww I'm glad your husband found out before he left. Where has he been deployed to? Thank you, it has been heartbreaking the past six months, but I always think that things happen for a reason and it just wasn't meant to be. I'm not feeling too bad - sore boobs and sooo tired. And the worst thing is that I really fancy a certain food, I'll go to eat it and then really not enjoy it 🙈 can't win. My bad!!! Yes, the group is meant to be "Due Feb 2020" 🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyone getting cramp/stretching like feeling? Not painful but can feel it when lying in bed.

pandaobsessed · 04/06/2019 09:46

@Newbie21 yes! And I remember this with my DS too. It also pulls if you get up too quickly - feels like you've pulled a muscle. It's completely normal though 😊

I'm going to make a new thread now "Due in Feb 2020" as the date on this one is wrong, so feel free to join xx
