I am 37 wks today and I have got the weirdest feeling when I am walking.

It's like when you rub wet rubber or pvc and you get that squeaky feeling, but its in my pelvis like where the babies head is???? I'm not sure if this makes any sense at all but it is so weird, maybe it's the water bag or something

Anybody know what I am talking about?

do you have any pain in your groin ..or pelvis? do you feel like you are sitting on the baby's head? how far engaged is baby?

MrsScavo · 22/07/2007 15:30

I reckon it's the baby's head rubbing on your pelvis. Does the baby feel like it's going to fall out? (Don't worry, it won't!)

Transparent · 22/07/2007 16:02

Ewww I remember feeling like baby was falling out.....

but it was never like pvc and squeaky

babies head is 3/5, I saw the midwife today and I think she was trying not to laugh too

squeaky feelings still there though, she reckons he'll be out in the next week or so, full moon on the 30th so we will hope for then!

Stop wearing your PVC catsuit in the rain!!

bananabump · 23/07/2007 13:17

Hey hotcrumpets, sorry to hear about your squeaky problem. If it helps my downstairsy bits seem to click every so often when I'm not moving or anything....strange!

Why don't you join us in the august antenatal thread? I think we're all about the same stage as you and moaning about our various ailments. No squeaky wombs as far as I know though.

Transparent · 24/07/2007 08:56

Hope your sqeaking is silent atm for you.....

Anyway I have an answer to the sqeaking....

do not move
