Cramping in very early pregnancy

Had a bfp yesterday- hurrah! Thought I might be as had the same weird crampy feelings as I had last time. Sometimes feels like a stretch and sometimes feels like trapped wind but it isn't. Not overly painful but can sometimes make me grimace.

The only reason I'm concerned is that 9 weeks ago I had a bfp that ended up as a very early miscarriage at 6ish weeks and I had the same weird cramps for over a week but really frequently. I know some cramping is normal but after last time I'm worried the constant cramping is a sign that another mc might follow.

Anyone else experienced the same with either outcome?

I had cramping quite regularly in early pregnancy and I'm now 24 weeks. I now get hip pain more than cramping every once in a while. Try not to worry as it's normal to get cramping whilst everything is stretching and moving

I had period-like pains in the early days with both my early miscarriage and my current (31 weeks!) pregnancy, which by the way were also close together, like yours. Everything I've read says cramping is very normal, so I don't think it means anything either way. Good luck to you!

Thanks Smile that's reassuring. Just paranoid after last time!

I had period-type cramps on and off for a lot of the first trimester. My baby is four months old now! Cramps are really normal. Only worry if they are excruciating or accompanied by bleeding. Good luck!

I had bad cramps at 5 weeks, they woke me up at night and hurt so much i couldnt get back to sleep. But they went after 2-3 days. Now 11weeks pregnant.
