Pregnancy weight gain

Hi all, I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant with my second child and seem to have gained a massive 16 pounds so far Confused with about 6 pounds of that in the past 3 weeks. Its really getting me down, I was a healthy weight with a bmi of 22 before I fell pregnant and I was nowhere this big with my first child. I gained about 2 stone overall with my first child and was back to my pre pregnancy weight 6 months after the birth. I know this probably seems a silly thing to be worrying about but my mental health wasn't the best before i found out I was pregnant any way, me and my partner have split and although it's a long way off I'm already worrying ill never find anyone else/never lose all this weight. I am eating more but there's only been a few days where I've eaten to excess, I've tried to cut back on snacking but I feel so sick if i don't eat between meals. I'm sick of everyone telling me how massive I look. I suppose what I'm asking is what was everyone else's weight gain like at 20 weeks? Do you find you do gain more with your second child? I'm really hoping it slows down or tails off!

I gained 50 lbs with each pregnancy. I had a BMI of 20 prior to being pregnant. With each pregnancy I lost all the weight after a year. Now I’m on my third and started w BMI of 20 again. Hoping I don’t gain the 50. But not too worried as some people just prone to putting more weight. My sister gained the same and also lost it all.

I suppose I'm a bit worried as the weight gain seems to be a lot more rapid than with my first. And it all seems to be going to my thighs and bum lol

I'm 22 weeks and I've gained 10lb, was a little scared but I can still fit into my regular clothes but I can feel the extra weight and my bump isn't as prominent as I'd thought it would be yet.

That said, I eat perfectly healthy 5 days a week then eat whatever I want on Saturday and Sunday so I haven't really helped myself lol

I'm at 40 +6 with my first and have put on 4 1/2 stone!! I've eaten like a pig and done no training (I normally enjoy long distance running & riding my horses) but eating is the only way I can get the energy to work etc. plus if I'm even a little bit hungry I feel really sick. I've just accepted that I'll have to put the work in and lose it once baby is here (hopefully very very soon!). I'm going to give myself a year to slowly get back to the old me - well as close as possible as I accept I'll be a different shape! I was told yesterday that my clothes looked painted on and that I look like a beached whale...which in all fairness is quite accurate lol I'd just do what you can and not put too much pressure on yourself xxx

I wouldn't be too fussed if I only gained 2 stone but at the rate I'm going I fear it'll be More like 3. My bump is quite big but so is my bum and my thighs 😖

You're supposed to gain bum/ thigh weight though, to give you stores for breastfeeding.
