Announcing Pregnancy via Skype?

Hi all,

I was hoping for some ideas on how to creatively announce my pregnancy to my Mum and Dad who are in Sydney via Skype this weekend!

We haven't sent anything because we never do so that would be a dead give away so then I wanted to buy DH a funny t-shirt with something like "Be nice to me my wife is pregnant" on it but my sister pointed out that it's far too subtle for my Dad so other than just saying it I'm stuck for ideas!

Has anyone here done an announcement via Skype or Facetime? How did it go down??

Oh I can't help I'm afraid, but we're skyping my ILs in Saturday to tell them (well, to tell MIL, we spoke to FIL on the phone a week or so ago because we wanted to work out how to manage MIL better on this issue). I'm dreading it. We told my parents very early on by phone and that was cringy enough without having to see their reaction 😱
