Hello

I gave birth in 2015 and had 2nd degree tear and seemed to heal well and quickly. over a year later during sex (nothing wild btw 😂) I tore open where my perineal tear was and bled and was painful. Worth mentioning it was always slightly uncomfortable after second birth. I saw a GP and it was healing well without any intervention and was far more comfortable after this so I didn’t have any follow up and possibly think my 2nd degree was wrongly diagnosed by my newly qualified midwife. Three years later I am pregnant with my third and have a consultant appt next week to discuss this. I assume they will speak about birth options as I didn’t heal fully in the end? I was planning a vagina birth as wasn’t any other options but now I research it, have been reading it could cause more damage as was never properly “fixed” in the first place. Anyone with similar experience? I know a section isn’t to be taken lightly but if risk of incontience, further damage is of any high risk, I do not want to risk it. Any advice be greatly appreciated. Thank you
