Hey all,

I've been bombarded with ads from Seraphine on Facebook, but had a look at it and some of the stuff looks really nice.

Anyone ever bought anything on it? What is the quality like? Does it take months for the stuff to arrive? Bought something recently on Ali Express and it literally took 2 months to arrive.

Thanks!

I bought a few dresses from there. Found them really good quality and very nice. Think delivery took 3-5 days?

The only points against them were: a) their postage charges were steep and b) the returns system was a bit of a pain.

Yes love Seraphine! John Lewis stocks a limited range so worth checking there as ordering and returning is easier. I especially loved their maternity leggings and smart black trousers. I also have a nursing top I wore lots when pregnant and after, and a couple of maternity/nursing dresses. Good quality, I would say it’s worth the price.

Thanks guys,

Good to know it's not just a scam anyway! Some of the stuff is fab on it.

Will deffo check it out for when I pop!

Thank you for the replies.

The Duchess of Cambridge (Kate Middleton) wore their stuff all through her pregnancy, so not a scam. They have a shop in Kensington, London so pretty high end I think x

I've ordered a dress from there to wear to a friends wedding and my baby shower - it's quite expensive compared to where I've been getting my maternity clothes so was wanting to get extra wear out of it! Not arrived yet but have heard really great things from friends who've been pregnant before.

If you're looking for loungewear, apparently their bamboo PJs are the best around!

I bought a couple of bits from their sale in my first pregnancy. It is pricey and I doubt i would have bought anything full price but it is really nice quality. Currently getting used again in my second pregnancy.

I have worn their clothes non-stop over the past five years of pregnancy and breastfeeding and they are really great, especially the basic vest tops for discreet feeding. The dresses have served me well too

I've quite a few bits from seraphine, good quality and I liked the style, although expensive. I did pick up some stuff in their sales. Selling most of my maternity stuff on eBay now and the seraphine stuff is selling well.

Maddis136 · 29/05/2019 21:25

I pretty much own all their stuff now I’m on my second child. They have shops dotted around affluent areas if you want to try before you buy. Not in the same league as Ali Express at all.

I got a maternity/babywearing coat for Christmas, after stumbling across their Leeds shop with DH. We bought a jumper on sale, too, which is maternity/nursing. They both seem really good quality, although now I’m only just able to zip up the coat over my huge 37-week bump. I think they expect people to grow in a more dignified manner!

I’m also wearing one of their dresses right now. It’s off eBay. Again, I don’t think it’s designed for quite such a huge bump as I’m now sporting - the hem isn’t level at the front!

I’d recommend looking at eBay if you like their stuff and are happy with second-hand. But the new stuff is worth buying, if you can afford it.

My dd had a few bits from Seraphine, was good quality & washed well they have a branch in Battersea, if you are near London.

MyHomey · 29/05/2019 21:40

I've bought a fair bit from Seraphine, it's a fave with celebrities and is good quality/high end.
A lot of the reviews said some of the sizes came up big and to get the size smaller than you usually would.. I did this and they were all slightly too small.. but I was too disorganized to send back, so now trying to squeeze myself in to the size 6 jeans at 25 weeks pregnant! So my advice is stick to your normal size!!

Love seraphine!! Great work staples and stylish pregnancy wear! I picked a few key pieces and they are all really nice :-)

Tini17 · 30/05/2019 18:39

I love Séraphine! Great work stuff and easy to sell afterwards.
Their sale is a bit hit and miss but worth a look too.
Returns are a bit of a pain though.

Their leggings are great.

I also got a dress for a wedding at their shop in Leeds - needed to be able to try something on and check the fit fully. They were very helpful!

TheBoyWhoLostHisSocks · 30/05/2019 18:46

I only got the baby skin to skin wrap top from them but I love it! It saves my arms from aching and means I still get to snuggle my baby. I really recommend it!

kittyz · 30/05/2019 21:32

Thanks so much for all the help guys. Looks like it’s a resounding yes for Seraphine.

Thank you!!!
