Discharge after spotting ! Worried!

Hi all,

On Thursday last week I started spotting. Dark brown, actually looked like I’d got skid marks! TMI. My midwife got me an appointment at the EPU on Saturday morning and baby was fine with a strong heartbeat. The spotting stopped yesterday and I’ve just been to the toilet and when I wiped there was clear jelly like discharge. Exactly the same as fertility/ ovulation discharge.
I’m really worried it could be part of my plug! I’m not in any pain or had any cramps.
I’m 10+4 weeks.

Anyone else had anything similar or know what it is ?

It's normal to have lots of weird and wonderful discharge during pregnancy. As long as it is generally clear/white and is odourless it's not a problem. Even if it was bits of your plug coming away, it regenerates so generally isn't a problem
