Bad dreams / nightmares while pregnant, I can't sleep cause of it

I had my first terrible nightmare last night. It almost felt like a night terror as I felt like I was awake but clearly I was still asleep. I felt like something was on the bed crushing the quilt around me. I swear I sat up when awake and tried to scream out but my voice was gone and no noise coming out.. I think got out of bed and was frantically looking for my other half.

I was clearly asleep and dreaming. I don't even know what I was scared of in my nightmare, I just felt petrified! I woke up and my heart was pounding in my chest. It was horrible.

In the past couple of weeks I have also been having very vivid weird dreams, like smelling cigarette smoke and waking up thinking my OH was smoking in bed it was that strong, then having dreams that all my teeth were crumbling in my mouth... lol. I've never been one to remember dreams before being pregnant !

I had some awful dreams when pregnant. I had to watch Friends every night on Netflix until I went to sleep to deal with the anxiety.

Oh yah I've had some horrid ones since I've been pregnant! Really vivid as well. The last one I had I dreamed that some person broke into our home and was trying to cut the baby out of my stomach, I'm sure I accidentally woke my partner up as well shouting his name!

I've been having some awful nightmares as well, Last night I shook my OH awake telling him someone had broken into the house, I was in the middle of a nightmare but nearly gave the poor man a heart attack

Omg I watch friends alllllll the time , all ur dreams sound crazy mind are so vivid an feel real

I had them a lot in the 1st trimester. I'm almost in the 3rd now and haven't had any in a long time.
