Hi,

I’m so so excited to find out the gender of my baby and I had a private scan yesterday. Well tbh, my gut said I’m going to have a baby boy but then the sonographer said it’s a girl. It doesn’t really matter what is the gender of the baby but I don’t want to buy too much pink stuff and it comes out a boy Grin So can anyone tell me if you can see anything from this scan photo:?

No photo to see.

I was convinced DD was a boy before our scan but nope. I would follow what the sonographer said.

It's so annoying that they don't allow me to post any photo as I'm a new member :( I don't really sure how long will they let me do that so I can show you

I was sure I was having a boy too. DD is six months old today.

(I did ask at subsequent scans whether she was "still a girl")

Emwithme well they didn't show me the line or anything. They just said it seems flat between 2 legs so should be a girl. So you have a baby boy at the end:?

I felt like I was having a boy but 20 week scan said girl, then 3d scan at 30 weeks also said girl, and they're supposedly 99% accurate, so I believe it now! Grin

Oh and DH thought girl all along so I guess his instinct is better than mine! Grin

Lucybunny · 28/05/2019 10:40

My DH think it's a boy as well Grin do you have a small bump around 18 weeks because mine is small. I thought small bump means a boy? Hmm

Don't think that really means anything tbh. I got the tiniest bump around 14 weeks and it slowly grew, was in the 'fat or pregnant?' stage until at least 24-25 weeks, possibly later depending what I wore. Now nearly 32 weeks and in the last couple of weeks my bump has ballooned and people at work are joking about a 12lb baby and whether I'm sure it's not twins, Hmm even though my measurements are spot on.
