Sorry in advance............ TMI!!!!
I'm 5+1 and have had diarrhoea/softer stools and stomach cramps for the past few days. The cramps feel like I would normally get with a period, and it's not unusual for me to get diarrhoea with these cramps during my period!
I need some reassurance that this is a symptom of pregnancy? I have had nothing else, no sickness etc. Should I seek medical advice? I did a google search and saw something along the lines of some women get diarrhoea and some get sickness?
Thanks in advance

I suffered diarrhoea in the early weeks. It's how I knew I was pregnant before testing! Regarding the cramps I have no advice but make sure to keep yourself well hydrated.

I had diarrhoea loads at the start but with absolutely no sickness during both pregnancies. Seems to be a symptom for some and not for others. Don't worry about it, just keep hydrated.

I had awful diarrhoea and stomach cramps with first born until.about 8 weeks. Apparently all your intestines are loosening up to make way for baby and its normal. Didn't get it so much with 2nd.

I had the exact same when I was around 6 weeks pregnant. All part of the lovely pregnancy package!!

Yep I had both at the beginning of my pregnancy, it's all normal! Everything is a worry I know! I've never been so worried in my life Haha. But my cramps were so much so that I was convinced I was coming on my period, it felt exactly like I was going to. The only reason I did a test was because I didnt come on my period (obviously) and I am as regular as clock work, so it was very unusual for me. Paracetomal and keeping your belly slightly warm can help, just rest and take it easy and drink plenty of water! Good luck!

Thanks everyone!! I've taken some paracetamol and I'm using a hot water bottle which really helps!
It's such a worrying time!!
