Harmony test and wanting to do a gender reveal surprise

Hello. I’m curious if anyone had the harmony test but wanted to find out sex at a later time to be suprised w family. From what I understand your results are emailed? But what if you want to know what your having, but not via email?

I’m hoping to somehow get the results in a sealed envelope stating boy or girl so I can pass this on to cake maker to have pink or blue inside so to find out with my kids (they love cake and so do I lol). I didn’t do anything special with my first two and thought this may be my last and I want to do something fun, esp bc my kids would enjoy.

Please tell me how you got your results from the harmony test.

Can't you just give them someone you trusts email address and get them pass it onto the baker?

I recently had the harmony test and finding out the gender was optional.
Although I'm guessing you do want to know, just not personally?
If it helps, my results came via email with a summary from the doc that all was ok in the body of the email. The specific info and gender were in an attachment.
If yours was to be the same then you wouldnt need to open it and could perhaps just forward it on to someone arranging the reveal for you?
Different clinics might be different, but for what it's worth, that was my experience.

By email, all info together.
Why don't you opt out of knowing the sex of your baby for the tests then ask at your 20 week scan for the sonographer to write it down and put straight in an envelope.

You can just opt out of finding out the gender- I’m assuming you’re having the test for chromosome abnormalities?

The doctor who did ours said they often get asked to write the sex on a bit of paper and post it out, then the formal results sheet you get is completed as if you've said you don't want to know.

Hi, I had the harmony test 2.5 years ago at the fetal medicine centre London.

I told them I didn't want to know the sex. They made a note of it and when I went in for my appt, they didn't tell us.

But I do want to know the sex, I just want to have it so I can't see it right away. I will speak to the clinic. I hope its like the pp said the body of the email has all the important info and attachment has more details including the sex. I will request if they could write the sex in a sealed envelope and I can stop by to pick it up. I don't want to wait until 20 weeks to find out! Especially if I am paying 500 for a test that can tell me. If its too difficult for them, ill find out and then surprise my kids :) It was really my dh who wanted to find out with the kids, so I can let him be surprised too. But I have a feeling the clinic will be able to help by putting it in the attachment.
