2 days late but negative results !??

We have been trying for a baby for the last few months, sadly we had a chemical pregnancy in March, but decided to start trying straight away, I'm now 2 days late on my period with huge sore breasts and peeing every 5 minutes!! I did a digital test last night and first thing this morning and just tried a 'pink' one but all negative !!?
I'm usually pretty regular on my period...
Please advise !? I'm going crazy !!

Digital tests are less sensitive than most other tests. Use a non digital test using your first morning urine. First response early response are good ones to use

Aw what ?! That's really weird. I don't mean to sound patronising at all but any chance you've got your dates mixed up at all ? I was in your boat as I'm very irregular, took a week and a half to get a positive aghhhhh I'm excited but annoyed for you 🙂xx

@JenMumma nope I've triple checked the dates I'm usually always 28days and today is day 33! I'm stuck and work going crazy going to the toilet every 5 minutes to check! I know I just need to wait a few more days then test again. But I just know when I get home and see that stick I'll be peeing on it 🙈xx

So many pregnancy symptoms but similar to period which is even more confusing im more tired, back ache, peeing more and my boobs have got way bigger and so tender (never this tender on a normal period)
Slight tummy ache a couple of days ago but nothing crazy

Aw flipping heck that's so not useful 😂. My preggo symptoms are exactly the same as period symptoms too, it's a conspiracy. Aghhhh its a waiting game then 🙄.

When I fell pregnant last August I was 8 days late before it showed up as positive. I took 3 tests in that time and all negative but I just knew as I’m NEVER late either. Give it another few days and rest again

@JenMumma yeah we have been trying since February so still early days, my little girl turned 4 this week so decided I needed a squishy baby back in my life, I've got a clear blue (not digital)
My partner is freaking out as I'm an identical twin with 3 sets in my family 🙈xx

@SamRwl oh my goodness you'll have your hands full 😂. Squishy baby awwww that's cute.
The digital ones are less sensitive so it's good you haven't got a digital one xx

The thing is, if they were pregnancy symptoms they would be caused by the hormone that gives you a positive test. So it's unlikely you would have enough hormone to have symptoms but still get a negative test. Fingers crossed for you though, ttc is awful.

You need a first response early response. I wonder if it's maybe stress / worry that's making your period late though 🤔 xx

Hmm I'm not sure really I don't think I'm stressing about it, I just want to know I'm really going to try leave it a few more days xx
