I'm 32 weeks pregnant but ever since about 12 weeks sex has been extremely uncomfortable for me.

It's painful inside and it feels like a burning sensation. I've been tested for thrush and nothing came up, does anyone know what it could be?

Its not caused any issues in our relationship, I would just like to take advantage of this time before the baby comes to enjoy ourselves but we cant because its so sore!!

Have you tried using a lubricant?

Unfortunately, this is very common in late pregnancy, so there probably isn't anything "wrong." The major increase in blood flow to your pelvic region can cause your vaginal tissues to become swollen, so that might be the reason. Your hormonal changes can also cause vaginal dryness, so it could be that, too.

Is it possible you're tensing up? I felt squeamish about having sex in my last pregnancy for the first few weeks till I got over it.
