Incorrect Gender Scan

Hi Ladies,
Just wondering has anyone had incorrect private gender scans? I've currently been told two different genders so very confused right now

How far on are you? Maybe the first didn't pick up on what could be seen on the second.

I haven't but my friend is a sonographer and says it's quite common. Generally if they say it's a boy it's correct as they've seen something whereas if they say girl there's a higher chance of it being incorrect.

But you can see something on a girl scan, it’s not just a case of whether they see a penis or not.. they can see girl parts on a scan depending on what position the baby is in.

Mines was a girl quite clearly from the 3lines down below. Got a really good look at underneath when they were doing their checks at 20week scan so there was no mistaking anything.

Of course you can see things on a scan if it's a girl but its down to the angle. If you get told it's a boy then it's a boy but it can be less certain if they say girl.

At 12 weeks although to early looked like a girl...then I had a private scan at 17 weeks where they said girl 100% and then changed their mind to boy. We was after told they couldn't be 100%...have my 20 week scan next week so going in open minded. Just not sure if I'll believe anything to baby is born now

Looks like a girl to me ,by 20wks they should be 100% x

A friend of mine was told on two seperate scans she was having a girl. A little boy came out at the end. It is never 100%

On the private scan they confirmed girl and showed us 3 lines but some time later thought they saw a willy. They said they were swaying towards more a boy but wasn't 100%. They showed us the stills on both the 'girl' and 'boy' parts but couldn't give us for safeguarding reasons 🙄 on both the stills they did look like the said genders.....so confusing
