FRER - false positive?

Hello all - I tested on Wednesday pm and got a faint positive (see test) I tested Thursday (yesterday am) with FMU and it was clearly darker ... I’ve tested this morning with FMU and it’s lighter again!!
Anyone had this?
Don’t know what to think?
Shall I try another brand? AF isn’t due until Monday and I know I should just wait until then but I’m going crazy 😩😳

I can definitely see lines on all three and I don't think it's very common to get three false positives in a row. I would wait until AF is due as if you are pregnant your HCG is still likely low, and retest when AF is due with a couple of different brands. Good luck x

The darkness of a pregnancy test can be deceptive as they’re based on how concentrated your urine is rather than being an indication of how your pregnancy is progressing - the only thing that can do that is blood tests at 48 hourly intervals. Also you are still quite early to expect more than a feint result on any brand of test.

Some people never get very dark positive tests but have successful pregnancies, others get very strong lines and then experience a loss.

Sorry OP first response tests that have got lighter has never been a good sign for me and it's possible this might be a chemical?
Maybe try again this evening/tomorrow - FRER are so sensitive you should see a significant darkening in colour over 48 hours x
